- Bio:Melanie is a Canadian writer and journalist working in print and radio in Berlin, Germany. Her work has appeared in Deutsche Welle, Al Jazeera, DOX Magazine, Realscreen, ExBerliner magazine, The Local Berlin, The Global Post, The Atlantic Times and Miller-McCune as well as Berlin Stories, a weekly podcast distributed through NPR. She had also been published as a poet and short fiction writer in various literary journals. Melanie specializes in film and documentary reporting, and has a working knowledge of German.
