Denmark zoo: Receives threats for killing giraffe
BERLIN - A Danish zoo said Monday it is getting hate mail from around the world for having killed a young giraffe to prevent inbreeding, and then feeding it to the zoo's lions."I've got about 1,500 text messages and e-mails, most of them are very hateful, addressed personally to me," Copenhagen Zoo scientific director Bengt Holst told Danish tabloid Ekstra Bladet. "I've got about five real death threats saying stuff like 'now I am going to come and shoot you."
